The DailyDOOH Media Summit (@Nigel Clarkson)

Let’s be honest, we could have got a whole bunch of different prats to come and lecture the out of home world on mobile but really, they (said ‘prats’) would have had no credibility with our audience and to be brutal-to-frank would have passed on little or no useful knowledge.

So it was then, with much delight, that we managed to persuade Nigel Clarkson, an old and good friend to the out of home industry, to come and speak at The DailyDOOH Media Summit earlier this year…

In his own words,“Mobile can be the glue that connects all media channels.”

The theme of Nigel’s presentation was to discuss the various ways in which mobile and digital out of home can work together. “I love Out of Home. I love Mobile – the synergy between the two is obvious” he declared, and then went to to discuss how to turn something that sounds like it makes sense into a reality for agencies and clients, using mobile to support and complement DOOH.

Nigel Clarkson joined Weve in November 2013 as the company’s Commercial Director – he joined with extensive experience in the media industry working across outdoor, radio and online and has a background in sales and marketing. Nigel’s focus is introducing and keeping Weve top of mind in the media community and developing long term commercial partnerships with brands and merchants across a host of media marketing and commerce services.

Note: The DailyDOOH Media Summit video highlights ‘package’ is almost at an end as we lead into The DailyDOOH Investor Conference. The last Friday post featuring one of the 30-minute presentations is up next week and will feature Exterion Media’s Shaun Gregory (who just coincidentally is speaking in New York at our event on Wednesday October 22, 2014 AND who will be keynoting The DailyDOOH Media Summit, May 19, 2015 in London next year!
