Cieslok Media, Toronto, has appointed Tim Harris to the position of director, national sales, while Mike Blanchard, who formerly held that position, moves to become director, mobile media.
“Our business is evolving,” says Jörg Cieslok, president and CEO. “While we continue to focus our efforts on our digital out-of-home growth across Canada, at the same time, our mobile offerings have become expansive. It became evident to us over the past several months that there was a high demand for our unique mobile targeting capabilities. This is why we decided to move forward with creating a dedicated department to manage this business.”
Harris has over 25 years of experience in advertising sales and management, with a proven track record of success. He started his career on the agency side, and moved into advertising sales with the Toronto Sun before joining some of the largest broadcasters with Baton, Canwest and Shaw Media.
Blanchard has 14 years of sales management experience, representing some of the largest media brands in North America.
His background in digital landscape analysis, digital strategy and optimization for some of the country’s largest publications proved extremely advantageous for Cieslok.
In the role of director, national sales, Blanchard worked with the national advertising community to build and promote Cieslok’s out-of-home and mobile offerings.
With a keen aptitude for digital, Mike forged some strategic relationships with partners that put Cieslok’s unique targeting offerings on the map in the mobile industry.
