Gail Chiasson, North American Editor
Nathan Remmes has been promoted from director of business development and demand generation to vice-president of marketing and business development at NanoLumens, reporting directly to Karen Robinson, senior vice-president of sales and marketing.
“In the three years that Nate has been at NanoLumens, he has created a world-class business development and lead generation team that successfully launched our initial product line,” says Robinson. “His talent for bridging the gap between sales and marketing with focused, sales producing lead generation programs is a major reason why we continue to grow at a pace that far exceeds the industry. As vice-president of marketing and business development, Nate will play an even more important role in developing all of the go-to-market strategies for our evolving portfolio of system and service offerings. 2015 is going to be the most important year yet in NanoLumens’ history and Nate is going to lead the introduction of a number of new product and professional service offerings that promise to transform the way the world looks at visual engagement.”
In his new position, Remmes is completely responsible for the financial and strategic oversight of all inside sales, business development, and marketing programs, including demand/lead generation, Salesforce.com administration/analysis, Marketo administration and strategy, branding, advertising, trade shows, public relations, and corporate communications.
“I’ve always had a passion for developing marketing and demand generation strategies that are focused on growing revenue,” Remmes says. “Creating, executing, and measuring integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels is both an art and a science. I am proud of the accomplishments our team has made over the last three years and I am confident that we will accomplish even more in the year ahead.”
Prior to joining NanoLumens in 2011, Remmes was senior business development associate at PointClear and strategic account manager at World Micro Components. In 2013, he was named one of the 50 most influential people in sales lead management by the Sales Lead Management Association
