Float4’s Interactive Environment Transforms Desjardins’ New Public Space In Montreal

Since late fall, a new interactive multimedia environment, located in the newly renovated Desjardins Corner, has been attracting attention in and around the Desjardins Complexe in downtown Montreal.
The space, designed by Montreal architecture firm Provencher Roy Associés, has been strikingly enhanced through a user driven audio-visual experience created by Float4, Montreal.
This environment immerses a diverse audience in the social involvement and values of the Desjardins Group while offering a one-of-a-kind experience.
To create this new branded environment, Float4 designed and produced a series of digital installations powered by its proprietary RealMotion platform. Predominantly located at the entrance of the space, a massive interactive wall, consisting of 12 55” displays, attracts visitors by using their own movements to reveal Desjardins’ brand values. Further, a large scale multi-touch wall, comprised of six 55” displays, offers an added level of engagement. It serves as a primer on Desjardins’ history, while giving an introduction to the wide range of social engagement activities that reflect the Group’s values.
Those keen on delving deeper into the experience can consult one of the seven iPads programmed to analyze particular financial situations and offering myriad tips and tools tailored to meet their specific needs.
To complement the visitor experience, Desjardins offers a Careers Space to assist job-seekers and attract the inquisitive. Six iPads offer essential information about career opportunities at Desjardins, while advising applicants about the hiring processes and the perks that come with being a Desjardins employee.
