iCan is advertised as the smart way to tell local people about your services! It’s billed as a revolutionary 360° display which receives information over a network called c360tv through which members can post messages and images – i.e. its seen as a communication point for all the public to use.
An interesting combination of UGC and digital signage.
They are open to advertising as well of course!
The picture doesn’t show size or scale – the device is about 2 -3 foot tall and will easily fit on a pub or club bar. We are not sure of the exact numbers of these around at the moment. We haven’t seen any ourselves – they seem to be concentrated in the South East of England.
Rumours are that there may be as many as 500 if not now, then shortly
