Chris Luck Reports To Prison
Back in May 2012, we wrote ‘Scotts Valley Money Manager Charged in $60 Million Ponzi Scheme‘ and followed that up in January 2013, when we added that Chris Luck, founding managing general partner of GLR Growth Fund LP, who was MediaTile chairman and Keith E. Rode who was a MediaTile director were also indicted at that time.
So now, some four months after he was ordered to repay more than USD 33 million that he bilked from investors in the Ponzi scheme, Chris Luck of Scotts Valley finally reported to federal prison last week to begin a 10 year, 10 month sentence.
If you want to send him a postcard he can be found at USP Atwater, the United States Penitentiary, Atwater in Merced County.
John Geringer was set to be sentenced in the same securities fraud case this Monday, but a federal judge delayed the sentencing to June 2, 2015.
A third man who pleaded guilty in the case, Keith Everts Rode of Los Angeles, is set to be sentenced June 9, 2015.
