This year’s Grassfish Summit saw over 80 participants in Vienna, with customers and partners alike attending the presentation of Grassfish’s new Version 8 software release, project showcases and above all personal meetings to discuss up-and-coming technologies and future strategies in the digital signage sector.
Roland Grassberger, Grassfish CEO told us “We are pleased by this significant growth in participation over last year. The positive feedback we have received not only reflects well on our ongoing growth, but also on our reworked event concept for this year’s meeting. Networking opportunities took centre stage, punctuated by entertaining project showcases. Partners such as Samsung and BrightSign also took the opportunity to present their products. Culinary treats and some lovely weather also contributed to make the event a success.”
Cutting edge projects such as DHL’s ‘Innovation Center’ in Germany, Belgian telecom provider Mobistar’s shop concept as well as ongoing developments in Grassfish’s sales and marketing departments were presented in the historical atmosphere of Schönbrunn Palace.
Visitors were informed about the latest Samsung, ELO Touch, BrightSign, Opticon and Relevance ONE solutions in the event’s partner exhibition zone.
Robert Duchac, Head of Marketing and PR at Grassfish, is already looking forward to next year “We have already started preparations and are planning next year’s event with even more participants and hot new topics, commensurate with the growth of our enterprise.”
The session breaks were intensively used by all participants to explore these matters in more detail, with discussions continuing after the summit throughout the evening at a typical Viennese restaurant while enjoying traditional Austrian specialties.
