We note on the PACER US court database (you will need to register), under Civil cases, that Monster Media has filed against TigerLogic Corporation (the holding company of Postano – Social Media for Brands) in United States District Court Southern District of New York, case number 15cv5165.

Interestingly it’s Monster Patents, LLC that has brought the action.

It would seem that Monster Media is pursuing Tiger Logic for at least USD 432,000. At the end of June, the industry saw Monster Media starting to assert a number of its Social OOH Patents, variously US Patent; 8,886,759, US 7,450,954, US 8,615,565 and US 8,880,649 all of which are related to different forms of Interactive Out-of-Home technology.

This particular lawsuit is a must read – especially amongst anyone who thinks that they are potential infringers.
