The Texas High School Coaches Association Conference, attended by coaches and athletic directors, learned this past week how a great scoreboard can also be a good revenue generator.
Partnering to demonstrate the point were Vantage LED, Ontario, California, and Electro-Mech Scoreboards, Wrightsville, Georgia.
With visibility from nationally televised football on ESPN to the lowest scoring high school basketball game on record, Electro-Mech has established a nationwide reputation for delivering tough, dependable scoreboards with outstanding service at an exceptional value for over 50 years.
And Vantage LED, which has provided full color LED live video displays for the FanFest Events during the World Cup, athletic facilities in Texas and everywhere, can bring the awesome sensation of a large sporting event to their local fans.
The partnership of the two companies has “been explosive, fun, and amazing,” says David Bittenbender, regional sales manager for Vantage LED. “We’re helping athletic departments afford and generate recurring revenue with large scoreboards with full color LED live video displays. Plus, the fans and business communities rally to support their local schools. It’s truly a team effort which makes the process fun and satisfying for everyone.”
Jim Ledford, national sales manager for Electro-Mech Scoreboards, says, “We are once again showcasing Vantage LED as our exclusive partner for all LED Message Centers and Live Video Displays. Electro-Mech’s friendly and knowledgeable team simply brings the highest level of professionalism and commitment to football, baseball, basketball, soccer, and many other sport venues in Texas and all across the country.”
“This (event) is another great Expo where I have the opportunity to work hand-in-hand with Electro-Mech Scoreboards to further promote its LED Video Scoreboard technology,” says Bittenbender. “We provide LED live video displays with simple, intuitive software that high school seniors operate with ease, plus multiple live video inputs, hot action buttons, advertising playlists, and many other options.”
While budgets are tight, Texas athletic directors and coaches at the conference learned that the team effort from a vendor and their community can go a long way to scoring a complete sports marketing solution.
