NEC And SYNNEX Launch Store-in-a-Box For SMBs At RetailNOW15

NEC Corporation of America and SYNNEX Corporation are introducing the ‘Store-in-a-Box’ solution at RetailNOW15, trade show for the retail technology and point-of-sale industry taking place Aug. 2-5, 2015, in Orlando.
The ‘Store-in-a-Box’ solution is a new retail solution that combines the VP5 Touchscreen point-of-sale system with Bepoz POS software to provide small-to-medium-size retailers with an all-in-one, simplified, cost-effective POS solution.
With Store-in-a-Box, NEC and SYNNEX have put together a solution that includes a VP5 POS that comes pre-loaded with Bepoz software to make setup, installation and configuration easy for SMB retailers. This compact system includes several features typically available on higher-priced POS solutions, including an Intel Celeron Quad Core CPU, a stylish bezel-free monitor, three versatile mounting options to fit various types of store operations and coming equipped with Embedded POSReady 7. The easy-to-maintain VP5 POS uses a fan-less design, which delivers quiet operations and reduces costs and failures. The Store-in-a-Box solution is reportedly ideal for retail, hospitality, and quick-serve and full service restaurants.
In June, NEC certified the VP5 POS and two other POS systems to integrate with Bepoz software. Bepoz software solutions have been designed for the hospitality and retail industries, and are well suited for SMBs. With more than 5,500 installations worldwide, Bepoz software includes an intuitive customizable user interface, comprehensive analytics and an easy room charge process for restaurants and hotels.
