VIA Technologies, Inc., who develop highly-integrated embedded platform and system solutions for M2M, IoT, and Smart City applications, ranging from video walls and digital signage to healthcare and industrial automation. last week announced that VIA Telecom has reached a definitive agreement to sell part of its assets to an undisclosed buyer.
Assuming satisfactory customary closing conditions, the company anticipates that the transaction will be completed by the end of the third quarter. The company evaluates that the transaction will contribute an investment gain of around US$100 million.
