With Computacenter now (strangely) the largest Scala reseller in the UK – thanks to the large number of licences being purchased for the impending Santander banking rollout, see our story ‘Santander UK RFP Goes 2 @ScalaInc Not @RMGNetworks’ back in August, rumour is that Computacenter are looking at acquiring a VAR for themselves.
This would make sense in terms of buying out some of the UK competition – mind you with some VAR asking prices they might be better advised to bid for Scala themselves – on the block at the moment for a mere USD 40M [emails to LumenForSale@BulgerPartners.com]
