Imagesound Reports Results a Week Today

Imagesound will be reporting their results a week today and folks like Hemscott are already second guessing likelihood good or bad …
Close watchers of Imagesound PLC, a supplier of in-store music, radio and TV services to the branded retail and leisure sector, will be looking for an update on the progress made in forging new trading partnerships within Europe.
Since September’s interims, roll-outs and upgrades have been completed on the contracts secured with Internacionale, East and GAP, and further renewals have been secured with Phase 8 and Poundland.
A new pan-European contract has also been secured with Swarowski, the crystal products retailer, to roll out an audio service to 45 of its stores in the UK. In addition, the company has completed a video service roll-out for a new JJB concept store in the Trafford Park Centre, which involved the installation of 25 screens.
The success of this concept encouraged JJB to award a further store to Imagesound, with the potential for further roll-outs in 2008.
The roll-out to the Marriott and Rezidor hotel chains experienced some delay as a result of logistical issues in certain locations. Imagesound anticipates that the 175 site worldwide roll-out programme will be completed by the year end, but the delay has resulted in a slower release of deferred income than expected.
Despite this, and the loss of two UK leisure contracts in Q4, the board expects that EBITDA for the year ended Dec 31 2007 will be in line with its expectations.
