Michael Tutton Joins Crown Content

Michael Tutton, recently manager, digital signage, gaming marketing at Ontario Lottery & Gaming Corporation, has joined Crown Content, specialist in digital signage content and strategy, as managing director and partner.
Crown Content’s mission is to help end-users find value in their screens.
“I really believe that hardware/software sales people have been leaving clients with equipment in place and no real clue as to how to be successful,” says Tutton. “The clients then try to create their own content using ‘talented relatives’ or get an agency that chews up their budget in no time, or they don’t update it at all.
“Regardless, the result is the client ends up saying Digital Signage doesn’t work. What these people need is someone to help them understand why they have the screens and how to affordably achieve their goals.”
Tutton says, “We are partnering with hardware and software manufacturers, as well as agencies and integrators to provide their clients with quality strategic advice and affordable ongoing content. When sales people realize their success and resales are dependant on client success, they will realize the value of partnering with someone like Crown.”
Prior to joining the Ontario Lottery & Gaming, Tutton was co-founder and partner at three60 Communications and was earlier manager, corporate communications at Hudson’s Bay Company.
“After more than 10 years designing and building OLG’s digital signage network, and overseeing the production of millions of dollars of content, I’m looking forward to sharing my knowledge with a wide breadth of clients including retailers, agencies, and casinos,” says Tutton.
