Welcoming more than 1.7 million passengers in 2015, Victoria International Airport is the second largest airport in British Columbia and a burgeoning hub for both domestic and international travellers. The new agreement adds to PATTISON’s growing portfolio of airports in Canada which in total reach more than 35 million passengers annually.

The multi-year agreement will provide advertisers the opportunity to explore the unique mindset of the air traveler with flexible, high-impact products, including digital, static and specialty advertising displays. Products include: Airposters; Horizontal Banners; Backlit Spectaculars; Digital Spectacular Displays; Gateway TV; Vinyl Wraps; Auto/Product Displays; Hotel Directory; and Jet Bridge Domination (interior and exterior). The airport audience is a desirable consumer group made up of a higher-than-average income demographic, decision makers, well-informed executives, tech-savvy individuals, social media influencers, and affluent leisure travelers. When they fly, travelers become guaranteed audiences for advertisers.

“This new airport contract will positively reinforce PATTISON’s position as a leader in airport advertising in Canada,” says Steve McGregor, vice-president and general manager, Pacific Region of PATTISON Outdoor Advertising. “Due to our high-quality product offerings and commitment to customer service, managing the advertising opportunities at Victoria International Airport will allow us to enhance and redefine the advertising experience. With our innovative digital and static displays, we will better serve our advertising partners and, in turn, provide compelling value propositions to audiences during extended dwell times.”

“The proposal presented to us by PATTISON Outdoor was an impressive blend of innovative products that offer advertisers a variety of ways to present their message,” says Geoff Dickson, Victoria Airport Authority president and CEO. “This was further complimented by demonstrated expertise in the airport advertising business. We look forward to welcoming PATTISON Outdoor to the Victoria International Airport.”

PATTISON is the leading airport advertising media company in Western Canada, and represents advertising opportunities at nine Canadian airports servicing both domestic and international travellers, and one domestic airport. Markets include (interior and exterior): Alberta (Edmonton, Calgary, Fort McMurray, Grande Prairie), British Columbia (Victoria), Saskatchewan (Regina, Saskatoon), and Winnipeg, Manitoba. In addition, it represents the exterior advertising concessions for Ottawa International Airport in Ontario and Halifax-Robert L. Stanfield International Airport in Nova Scotia.
