The Birmingham-based company, which was established in 1998, has seen a surge in sales from new and existing clients for its traditional signage and innovative large format LED digital displays. As such, it has completed 30 major builds in the first three months of the year – another record for the company.

Since the start of 2016, Concept has worked with many of the UK’s outdoor advertising giants such as JCDecaux, City Outdoor and Forrest Media. A tranche of projects, including bespoke displays, have also been completed in the retail sector for the likes of Gallions Reach Shopping Park in London, retail property heavyweights Hammerson, and a further five major retail parks across the UK.

Concept has also continued to build on its relationship with Network Rail – forged through the success of the iconic ‘media eyes’ which were delivered for the New Street Gateway project – and the team has now provided a further three screens for the railway network across London.

To support its ongoing growth and plans to diversify and capitalise on new markets, Concept has now initiated a recruitment drive and will increase its team by 30 per cent before the end of the year.

Sean Morrough, managing director of Concept, explained why he believed the company has experienced such strong growth: “Just last year, we set what we thought were ambitious targets for the business; and to now be in a position where we could surpass these in just a year is an incredible achievement. We hit the ground running at the start of 2016, and to have completed 30 major builds in just three months is testament to the expertise, hard work and professionalism of the team.

“What really differentiates us from the competition is our ability to take a turnkey approach – to fully encompass the design, project management, manufacturing, installation and maintenance of signage and digital displays. We maintain long relationships with our clients and secure many contracts through recommendation as a result of our commitment to delivering innovative design-led solutions and exceeding expectations time and time again.”

Having already experienced considerable growth in the highly innovative ‘Out Of Home’ advertising market in recent years, this area of the business is key to its growth strategy.

David Neale, director at Concept Sign & Display, told us “Ensuring we continue on this steep growth trajectory will be a challenge, but I am confident that as we expand our team, invest in new technologies and ensure we are at the forefront of industry innovations, we will continue to be deliver on our targets.

“The ‘Out Of Home’ advertising market is changing rapidly. By harnessing ‘big data’, for example, Out of Home advertising is becoming far more tailored than ever before, targeting individual demographics and market trends. This is a truly exciting time for the industry and we have the expertise and ambition to lead the way with high quality bespoke solutions which better meet the needs of our clients.”
