Mike Gamaroff joins @SITO_Mobile

ex Kinetic Mike Gamaroff has joined SITO Mobile as SVP of Channel Strategy.

He’s a good guy, well versed in the disruption that OOH / DOOH needs and we understand that his role will be to embed deeply with network partners to create, grow and sell their cross-screen proposition to brands and agencies. With brands concerning themselves more with audience and less about individual media channels, it’s becoming increasingly important that OOH networks augment their businesses with the best-in-class mobile platforms, data and solutions.

Mike told us “Over the past some years as head of innovation on the agency side, I have had the privilege of intensively screening and vetting dozens of technology providers, platforms and partners. Since my approach to innovation is robustly practical, however, I needed to be part of the solutions for advertisers instead of only recommending them.

For OOH networks, a ‘mobile-first’ media proposition is not to be feared. Mobile greatly enhances the ability to target on-the-go audiences and measure effectiveness of OOH, and brands are realizing the benefit of spending in mobile and OOH together instead of in online channels alone.
