Altitude Exhibits Incorporates PixelFLEX Product For New Booth Design

Exhibit design house Altitude Exhibits, based in Littleton, Colorado, recently incorporated PixelFLEX’s FLEXLite NXG LED video into a new booth design to creatively showcase security analytics software which it showed off at the ISC West trade show.
Altitude Exhibits is a full service exhibit house that has the expertise to design and build everything from award-winning custom trade show exhibits, hybrid custom/modular exhibits, and modular/portable exhibit systems. When approached by video analytics provider VCA Technology to help them create an eye-catching booth design for the ISC West trade show, Jeremy Luther, Altitude Exhibits president saw the perfect opportunity to integrate LED video into the design concept.
Needing a technology partner to help him identify the LED solution, Luther made a call to Nashville-based PixelFLEX who provided the 3.9mm FLEXLite NXG LED video technology.
“It has always been a desire to incorporate LED technology into our exhibit designs because we know how amazing it looks,” says Luther. “However, I think that some of our clients may have a notion that it’s too complicated or expensive – but that couldn’t be further from the truth.
“As we were speaking with VCA Technology about their ISC West booth design, they really wanted to reinforce to their audience that security wasn’t just all about hardware, but it’s also about what you are seeing and the analytics you can gather. To accomplish this they wanted something completely unique to showcase their software technology, so we implemented the FLEXLite NXG LED video wall as the showcase medium and the outcome was fantastic.”
FLEXLite NXG is available in two sizes with 2.6mm-6.25mm pitch options, plus a 6.25mm full outdoor, IP65 version. For optimum performance, FLEXLite NXG tiles are calibrated directly out of the box to ensure perfect color and brightness; and with serviceability in mind, easy access to the back of panels allows for quick and simple on-site repairs.
“During the design process, we took a quick look at projection technology, but it just doesn’t give you the visual pop that an LED screen will,” says Luther.
Getting to work on the final booth design, Luther originally conceptualized a layout with two FLEXLite NXG LED screens that would showcase the VCA Technology software. Wanting to make the boldest statement possible, he then went through a few revisions that led him to finalize on one large 80” tall by 240” wide FLEXLite NXG LED wall for maximum impact of the visual content.
“We trimmed the final product down to six video elements and used the VCA logo as a transition between each video segment,” says Luther. “To keep the video design engaging throughout the day, we would then transition out of the 15 small video windows and go into two larger areas, or one large viewing area. This really gave us a tremendous flexibility to be creative in ways that we just couldn’t do with projection.”
“The night before the show opened while we were putting on the final touches, other exhibitors were stopping to say how amazing the booth looked and that’s when we knew this was going to be good. Once the show opened, audience members were literally standing in the aisles memorized by the LED screen, and neither Altitude Exhibits nor VCA Technology could have been more pleased.”
