Comark announced this week, the appointment of Parag Shah as Chief Technology Officer.
As Comark’s CTO, Parag Shah will be responsible for the company’s technology vision and strategy as well as the development of products and solutions to support Comark’s ‘Smarter Automation’ strategy.
Prior to Comark Parag Shah held executive level technical leadership positions at Azonix; division of Crane, MTL, Cooper Crouse-Hinds and Eaton technologies.
He has over 20 years of technology design experience in the industrial, oil and gas, and military market sectors and had led product development teams that have designed and successfully deployed solutions in a wide range of harsh environments where operation at extreme temperature, sunlight, hazardous gasses and moisture are major factors.
He holds two patents for intrinsically safe inventions that allow communications in hazardous environments and has filed recently for several patents for the Smart City product.
If you think you know the name then it’s probably because he has also served as the interim Vice President of Engineering at Civiq Smartscapes, a JMC Capital platform company.
Parag Shah holds BSEE from the University of Mumbai, MSEE from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and a certificate in Entrepreneurial Development from MIT Sloan School of Management.
