Susan Danaher joins TouchTunes Interactive Networks

TouchTunes Interactive Networks, the world’s largest interactive music and entertainment platform, available in 75,000 bars and restaurants throughout North America and Europe, has now officially announced the appointment of Susan Danaher as Head of Advertising, Sales, and Marketing of its advertising solutions division, TouchTunes Media – we made mention of it several weeks ago, Ed.

She specializes in advancing the intersection of media, advertising and technology in digital place-based (DPb) and digital out-of-home (DOOH) enterprises.

Before taking on this new role, Danaher helped a variety of companies drive growth and create revenue opportunity as president of the Danaher Group L.L.C., a project-based consulting firm. Prior to that, she was executive vice president and chief revenue officer at Adspace Networks.

Susan Danaher also served as president of Reactrix, a technology-driven media company that deployed interactive displays in major shopping malls and theater lobbies. She then continued to drive innovation as president, CEO, and head of the board of directors of the Digital Place-based Media Association (DPAA) from 2010 to 2013.

During 13 years in national sales leadership positions at Viacom’s MTV Networks, she generated revenue growth for traditional, digital and non-traditional properties that consistently outpaced the industry across all platforms: MTV, VH1, Nickelodeon, Nick@Nite, TV Land, and Spike TV, as well as Nick.com, NickJr.com, ParentsTV.com, Spike.com and several other Nickelodeon enterprises.

As Executive Vice President of Ad Sales, Danaher led the team that pioneered Nick’s successful multiplatform sales strategy and built a new business team focused on expanding into new categories including automotive, travel and communications. She also repositioned and launched several new brands, including Spike TV, Noggin, The N, Nicktoons, and G.A.S.

While Vice President and Ad Sales Manager for the western region of Turner Broadcasting, from 1986-1993, Danaher was named “Outstanding Media Saleswoman by “Madison Ave” for increasing revenue at TBS, TNT and the Cartoon Network by 400 percent over five years.

She began her media marketing and sales career in media research and planning positions at several global advertising agencies.

Danaher earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Hamilton College.
