InfoComm International, the trade association representing the commercial audiovisual industry worldwide, has announced a joint initiative with Stampede.

This new partnership between the two organisations will see Stampede offer free one-year InfoComm Affiliate Memberships to AV professionals in Europe as part of their value-added services. Due to launch initially in Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Spain, the offer may be rolled out to other countries in the future. The InfoComm Affiliate Membership is offered to individuals, is valid for one year, and gives them access to free courses, discounts on paid training, and the latest InfoComm standards and updates.

Pam Taggart, CTS, ‎Senior Director of Development Europe at InfoComm International told us “Stampede has a formidable operation that has global reach and deep roots in the integration community. We think that our joint Affiliate Membership offer will appeal to the growing number of European AV companies and individuals looking to benefit from the best training resources and associated services the industry has to offer.”

Stampede President and COO Kevin Kelly also stressed the benefits of this initiative with InfoComm. “A better trained and better informed reseller network will raise the skill level of the entire European AV industry. We think the best way to achieve this goal is through membership in InfoComm, and that’s why Stampede is offering to pay for InfoComm Affiliate Membership of its dealers throughout Europe.”

According to Kelly, although the initial focus of the membership program will be limited to four countries, he expects that the agreement with InfoComm will eventually expand. “When Stampede makes a commitment, we go all in. We are confident that our growing network of European resellers will want to take advantage of this strategic business-building opportunity.”

Stampede resellers interested in taking up the offer should contact Mariana Kaiser, InfoComm European Program Coordinator, at mkaiser@infocomm.org.
