Breaking News – LG Snatches 3M’s Global Sales Manager

Big changes are afoot for 3M’s digital signage division. A trusted source leaked information to me about LG’s latest new hire – Jeff Dowell – 3M’s Global Sales Manager is moving to the much leafier and greener pastures of LG’s digital signage group where he’ll be charged to further develop their digital signage business worldwide.
Jeff is a long time veteran of the industry – as you’ll see on his LinkedIn profile. To coin a term first used by Brad Gleeson and Jeff Porter – Jeff Dowell is what we consider a Digital Signage Superfriend -due to his longevity and battle scars from his tenure in the industry!
As the brand slogan goes ‘Life’s Good’ at LG and for Jeff, – as for 3M’s struggling digital signage business – I guess you could say “That’s Life”

Rumor has it he was second choice, they offered it to Scott Kohler from Wireless Ronin but he refused when Wireless gave him 30k shares of stock to stay.
