Litelogic Wins Major Canadian Bus Contract
Adrian J Cotterill, Editor-in-Chief
As always we were the first to tell you – on Monday as it happens, in our post ‘LiteLogic Win Deal With Lamar‘ that there was a big win waiting in the wings and Wednesday saw the official press release.
Litelogic Operations, the UK-based digital advertising company, recently announced that it had been given the go-ahead to fit its digital signage systems across the Vancouver Transit System.
This follows a successful pilot project to trial an externally mounted Litelogic LED Digital Advertising Display on the side of a city bus. The Litelogic technology will now be installed on Vancouver buses in time for the 2010 Winter Olympics.
David Elks, Managing Director of Litelogic Operations told us “This contract is excellent news for Litelogic and demonstrates the increasing extent to which advertising experts believe the future of our industry lies with digital displays,”
Investment in the new technology will enable Lamar Advertising (the company which operates Vancouver Transit System media spaces) to rotate advertisements, and make them location and time specific.
