#ISE2018 Panasonic Extends LinkRay Enabled Signage Displays
Adrian J Cotterill, Editor-in-Chief
Panasonic has announced the launch of a new premium range of indoor displays, engineered for public signage, events and omni-channel marketing.
Florence Antony, European Marketing Manager at Panasonic told us “Besides the new LinkRay feature, a key improvement compared to the predecessor model, is the addition of a built-in USB media player, which allows for easy operation and even scheduling when combined with a content management system. In addition, easy cloning via LAN or USB means it’s possible to copy and paste setting information for ease of installation. Installation is also simplified by the DIGITAL LINK single cable for the transmission of video, audio and control signals over distances of up to 150m.”
The new SF2H series, includes a slim bezel design that maximises the viewable screen area and 700 cd/m2 brightness, providing greater impact to standard signage technology.
The Full HD LCD display, is available in two sizes (70 and 80-inch), offering high quality imagery, easy set-up and safe operation with 5,000:1 contrast, and consistent 24/7 imaging performance.
The two models in the range are designed for LinkRayTM content delivery. The Light ID emitted from the displays allow for the fast, simple transmission of data from the display to a mobile device – providing multiple types of information in the user’s native language.
An additional benefit of the new digital signage series includes reduced maintenance times with the help of an optional early warning function software. This minimises downtime and reduces the number of unnecessary visits to remote signage installations.
