There’s been no official announcement that we can see but it appears that entrepreneur extraordinaire Richard Corbett may have finally given up with Eyetease and taken a proper job.

His LinkedIn profile now lists him as Head of UK and Ireland for Bird and as you would expect with someone who courts controversy he has already made the papers in a story posted earlier this week ‘Private emails reveal how multibillion-dollar startups Bird and Lime are lobbying to launch their illegal scooters in Britain’.

Bird was founded by Travis VanderZanden, a former Lyft and Uber executive and whilst it has 1,000 scooters on many US city streets, its only city listed on its website outside North America at present is Paris.
