DPAA, the leading global organization for everything digital out-of-home (DOOH), announced this week that Tunity has joined the association.
Tunity enables users to scan a muted live TV and get synchronized audio streamed directly to their mobile device in real-time. The technology is targeted to gyms, bar/restaurants, hospitals, waiting areas and universities, and for the hearing impaired.
Yaniv Davidson, Founder and CEO of Tunity, said, “Our goal is to revolutionize the out-of-home viewing experience for consumers, and to provide a means of measuring viewership of any OOH screen with unprecedented accuracy. Currently, our focus lies in live television but we are exploring the possibility of applying our first-of-its-kind technology to digital out-of-home screens and billboards in Times Square and other locales and venues. Our membership in DPAA will enable us to better evaluate and accelerate these opportunities.”
Barry Frey, DPAA President & CEO, said, “Tunity has developed a technology that addresses a genuine need in the marketplace and opens up a whole new realm of possibilities for brands. We look forward to helping them grow their business by providing networking opportunities and a wide range of intel.”
DPAA is a global, digital out-of-home marketing association that has created a strong community environment in which members drive and promote their digital capabilities.
