Andrew Neale

Dirk Finstel has joined Advantech, a global leader in intelligent IoT devices and solutions (stock symbol: 2395) as Associate Vice-President Embedded IoT Europe.

He will lead the Embedded IoT sector in Europe. The press release stated that yhis strategic appointment underlines the importance of the Embedded business in Europe within Advantech.

He brings over 25 years of experience within the embedded computing sector, having had a successful career in both sales and technology. Dirk Finstel was previously CEO of Sales & Marketing for the embedded boards division and CTO and member of the management board of Kontron AG; he also worked several years as CEO EMEA and EVP at ADLINK Technology, Inc.

In his most recent role, he worked as Managing Partner / CTO at eCOUNT embedded in Munich, Germany.
