What was surprising about this VMG installation at the Lakeside Mall, Thurrock in Essex was that there was absolutely no advertising on the display.

It seems that whilst VMG’s digital 6-sheets, sold by Clear Channel of course, are reputedly sold out, the media buyers in the UK have an aversion to anything in landscape mode.

We can’t help thinking that they are missing a good opportunity, especially in busy malls where people queue / stand beneath to interact with the kiosk, maps etc.

    Has the sight of a landscape display got your goat or is there something remarkable about this kiosk at Lakeside? Not sure what it is telling us as it seems to just be a display on a stand?
