The best conferences will revise agendas in light of BIG industry change and we could not hold our European Out of Home Media Summit two weeks today, without making mention of Broadsign’s recent acquisition of Ayuda Media Systems and of course, the creation of a new Global Outdoor powerhouse in the UK and parts of Europe.
We will still be kicking off the European Out of Home Media Summit with Diversiffi Media’s founder Fiona Fitzgibbon giving a European market overview but the afternoon line up has seen a little bit of change.
At 14:30 Conference chair, Adrian Cotterill will be in conversation with Broadsign’s Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Burr Smith and with employees from both Broadsign and Ayuda Media Systems in the audience, along with dozens of their respective customers, this 45 minute session will be a must-attend for anyone wanting to know about their plans going forward, how they will integrate, how Broadsign will make use of Ayuda’s true ERP system, what it all might mean with for their (now) combined #AdTECH strategy (for example, Broadsign Reach has been a fantastic success story for Burr and his team whereas Ayuda seemed to take a slightly different approach and spun off their programmatic and marketplace business to Hivestack) and much more!
After a short TEA / COFFEE break, we’ll begin again at 15:45 with Prestonwood Trail Holdings’ Managing Director Steve Nesbit helping us again, as he did with the last session of the day at The DailyDOOH Investor Conference (TDIC) during New York Digital Signage Week last October. Steve will chair a room discussion (there is no other way to describe this, other than a ‘room conversation’) entitled ‘What Will Drive Out of Home’s Future Growth?’. Prepare ye for a number of senior industry execs to take the stage, be quizzed by all and much conversation and insight to be had – if you attended TDIC last year you will know how this works, Ed.
There are plenty of other good speakers throughout the day and of course, there is also the AdTECH: OOH – London Conference taking place immediately the day before.
Registration for the summit can be found here.
London Digital Signage Week takes place May 13-17, 2019 and as with its counterpart in New York, the week is for anyone involved with digital signage and interested in retail, employee communications, smart cities, digital out of home and of course digital signage!
