Integrate Expo was scheduled to take place August 19-21, 2020, but back in March, some five months or 153 days ahead of when the event should have taken place, it was cancelled by the organisers.
At the time, Integrate’s Marketing Manager Stephanie Bleakley told us “We have taken the decision today to postpone Integrate. As you can imagine it’s been an interesting few weeks for us, but after much consideration and due to increasing restrictions from the Australian Government in regards to social gatherings and travel, it was increasingly becoming unavoidable and we wanted to give the industry as much time as we could, and try to alleviate any uncertainty any way we can”.
In place of the in-person event, is a new ‘Virtual Speaker Series’ that will take place August 19-21, 2020. It’s billed as an opportunity for the AV community to come together and look towards the future.
We quote “The world may have changed, including the way we do business and interact, but technology remains a key component to moving forward as we all navigate a post-pandemic world. Integrate has always looked towards the future of industry innovation and now is no different, with the announcement of our 2020 virtual speaker series in association with AVIXA – ‘An Industry Transformed’”.
It’s a free-to-attend virtual program that will run across three days, with two major sessions to attend each day. Whether you are an integrator, end-user, supplier, or manufacturer, this program is your opportunity to immerse yourself in the future of AV and discover how to navigate AV business in our changing world.
The expert-led program has been developed in collaboration with AVIXA and will consist of a combination of live panel discussions, pre-recorded presentations and manufacturer training.
As with #InfoComm20 Connected, to ensure open discussion and connection with others in the industry all sessions will have live chat and Q+A opportunities. All of the sessions will be available On Demand the following week to view.
Integrate Expo proper will return July 21-23, 2021 in Melbourne.
