DPAA, the leading global organization working to drive out-of-home into its digital future, announced today that India-based Armour Display Systems has joined the association’s rapidly growing global membership ranks.
Armour Display Systems is a tech-based, dynamic, OOH communication technology company that creates digital campaigns for brands on its network of video screens and video walls in transit locations specifically on train stations. They recently began operation of video screens at City Bus stands, showing real time bus arrivals with the help of GPS technology. They have successfully demonstrated the audio-video convergence on these screens, giving passengers a unique and informative travel experience which includes relevant video ads.
Anil Hirani, Managing Director, Armour Display Systems, told us “We admire the work that Barry and his team are doing to advance digital out-of-home on so many levels, and are excited about becoming part of this effort.”
Armour Display Systems are one of India’s leading player in the digital OOH screens space at railway stations. Since 2004 their rich and engaging media formats (Video + AV) reach more than 200 million eye balls each month spread across 2500+ screens across 40+ railway stations, bus shelters and malls where we have media ownership rights. They have been somewhat of a pioneer in installing audio-video technology at transit locations which gives passengers a unique experience and a great platform for brand and agencies to showcase their products with TV commercials.
