Montreal FinTech Station Implements Digital Signage and Audio Solution

iGotcha Media, a fully-integrated brand experience firm that specializes in emotionally captivating consumers, today announced that Montreal FinTech Station, a catalyst for the development of fintech solutions in Quebec and Canada, has implemented a comprehensive digital signage and audio communications solution at its two-storey 25,000-square-foot workspace.
Newly-opened at 4 Place Ville-Marie, Montreal FinTech Station offers start-ups and financial sector stakeholders numerous services, including workspace rentals, professional and technological services, training and coaching, networking activities, events and support for corporate growth – all in a modern and open space that is highly conducive to collaboration. Montreal FinTech Station is operated by Finance Montreal, an organization representing public and private member institutions with a shared mission to make Montreal a world-class financial hub.
Working with interior design studio VAD, iGotcha Media was tasked with developing content, implementing systems and supporting a comprehensive communications solution tailor-made for Montreal FinTech Station’s tenants and visitors. Using its proprietary content management software (CMS), which allows content to be changed quickly and easily from any location, iGotcha Media delivered a digital signage network comprising 14 LG LCD monitors, ranging in size from 49 to 86 inches, including a 2X2 (four 49-inch monitors) videowall.
Specific applications include: a fintech business news feed, a daily schedule of events, welcome information for visitors and a reservation system with a dedicated iPad for each of FinTech Station’s seven conference rooms. iGotcha Media also implemented an audio system comprising multiple speakers in common areas, for announcements and background music, with integrated Bluetooth microphones for presentations and speeches.

Created in 2010, Finance Montreal, Quebec’s financial cluster, has a mission to make Montreal a world-class financial hub and foster cooperation among its member institutions to accelerate the industry’s growth. The organization engages in international business development activities to attract foreign financial companies to Montreal with the help of various tax incentives, including the IFC tax credit. In December 2019, Finance Montreal opened the Montreal FinTech Station, a development center for businesses in the financial technology sector.
