Mobile Awards Accepting Entries

Produced by Little Monster Media, the 2009 Mobile Excellence Awards, which will be presented Dec. 7/09 in Los Angeles, profile the latest in mobile entertainment, including media, marketing and technology.
The event celebrates the achievements of mobile entertainment from start-ups to applications to studios. Deadline for entries is Aug. 31/09. Category eligibility is Sept. 1/08 to Aug. 31/09.
This year’s MEA judges are a group of industry leaders, hand-picked from the mobile and digital entertainment industries. Representing the creative community, major media companies, and media services, the judge panel embodies the mobile industry at its most outstanding.
“We are proud to have an extraordinary group of industry leaders and visionaries judge this year’s Mobile Excellence Awards,” said Sarah Miller, founder and chair of the Mobile Excellence Awards. “Each executive was chosen to judge the MEAs based on his industry expertise, leadership, and impact on his respective field.”
The awards show boasts an extensive list of categories that includes: Best Start-up, Mobile Innovator, Mobile Advertising, Video, Social Network, Games, Music, Original Programming, Community and Fan Content, Promotion, Mobile Product & Services, including the prestigious Mobile Ambassador and People’s Choice awards, amongst many others. This year’s MEAs added seven new categories in the Mobile Technology and Mobile Entertainment fields.
And there is an award for Best Mobile International which honours mobile companies which have proved to be the most progressive or launched the most groundbreaking product/service/model from outside the U.S.
