Last night Clear Channel Outdoor brought together the media operators of 13 of Times Square’s most iconic digital billboards in partnership with iHeartMedia and Robin Hood for a virtual star-studded telethon that took place Monday night.
OOH media operators including Barclays, Branded Cities, New Tradition, Outfront and Silvercast all donated prime media space for a broadcast promo, produced by Alex Coletti Productions, that aired during the telethon to benefit New Yorkers.
Broadcasting simultaneously on all New York City TV stations, News Channel 12, nationally on CNBC, on iHeartMedia radio stations nationwide, on the iHeartRadio app, and on Entercom and SirusXM radio stations, the benefit raised awareness and funds to help New Yorkers whose lives have been dramatically impacted by COVID-19.
Throughout COVID-19, the North American OOH industry has remained at the forefront of the crisis using its digital media nationwide in collaboration with local, state and federal officials to inform people how to stay safe as well as sharing messages of thanks to essential frontline workers.
