DPAA, the leading global trade marketing association representing advertising and content outside the home while driving the digitization of out-of-home media, announced this week that meldCX has joined the association.
Barry Frey, DPAA President & CEO, told us “meldCX is on the leading edge of one of digital out-of-home’s great strengths—the ability to gather anonymized data about customer behavior and traits. We welcome them to our global community of members and look forward to supporting their bringing Viana to market here in the states.”
The Australia-based company, which has a U.S. headquarters in Austin, Texas, provides out-of-home media owners, advertisers and retailers with a camera-based platform that creates trackable physical spaces.
Viana by meldCX is the latest offering within the meldCX suite of products. Viana measures how people work, shop, learn and play in the real world, providing data for more effective, targeted advertising, while enabling retailers to make data-driven business decisions utilizing greater insights into their customers. All data captured by Viana is anonymized in accordance with privacy laws.
Stephen Borg, Global CEO, meldCX, said, “Barry and his team provide a very valuable concierge-type service along with great networking opportunities, all of which will be extremely beneficial to us as we introduce Viana to the U.S. market.”
meldCX is an affiliated company within the Acer groups. Its flagship product, meldCX, is a comprehensive cross OS enterprise platform for development of digital transformation (DT), making it simple and cost-effective for organisations to develop, deploy and manage commercial applications for IoT devices and DT initiatives across hardware and software platforms.
