Bespak is a global market leader in the design, development and manufacturer of drug delivery devices and they are now using Signagelive to broadcast and communicate information across several of their UK sites (they also introduced the Broadcast Player for their remote workers).
Bespak is committed to investing in patient and customer driven innovation, with the potential to create new treatments, new markets, and new opportunities.
Currently, they are using Signagelive to broadcast and communicate information to 19 screens across three of their UK sites. The network is used to display communications such as health and safety and quality messages (two of their main big focuses when it comes to communications) as well as giving all employees the chance to display their own social messages such as birthdays or the birth of a new baby. ith the content we receive.
We are told that they chose Signagelive because it offered them the granular Enterprise features they required. They wanted to be able to really drill down into user permissions, schedule content and have complete control over layouts and design.
We all know that using e-mail for mass communication is something that has become heavily relied on within many businesses.
Rhiannon Moore, Marketing Apprentice, Bespak told us “Quite frankly, people were bored of email. Communications sent out via email were often brushed over or dismissed and people began to stop seeing the information as important. It was clear to us that we needed a new, exciting way of getting our messages across. The digital signage network was part of a whole new host of internal communications methods being introduced across the business. We wanted to ensure there was a way people could receive relevant, inviting content without getting bored or seeing it as unimportant”.
Bespak first ran a proof of concept with a low cost signage platform to demonstrate why a signage platform was required. They then conducted research using case studies and Gartner’s magic quadrant to short list three products. Rhiannon Moore said “We ran a feature assessment against all three products and scored them. We presented our findings and recommendations to our Operating Board who agreed with our recommendation, set the budget and gave us a ‘wish list’ of features to deliver now and into the future”.
The Signagelive Marketplace has become a firm favourite of the Bespak administrators, offering them many different features and add ons for their screens which has given them that ‘finished look’ – for example, using different time and weather widgets to fit their style of corporate branding and being able to add YouTube videos.
Using Signagelive we are issued that Bespak’s communications process has become a lot smoother. Colleagues (employees) are now well aware of the process of adding content to screens instead of sending out communications via site wide emails. Across many of their sites they have also seen a rise in engagement towards communications, people seem to enjoy being able to use the screens for their social content such as birthdays and good luck messages.
Ben Holland, Sales Account Manager – EMEA, Signagelive told us “Bespak started with a rigorous CMS selection process and now, using all of the Signagelive services available are now able to communicate easily and effectively with their workforce whether onsite or at home. We look forward to continuing to help Bespak drive their digital signage communication further and are excited to see how upcoming Signagelive releases will help Bespak further achieve their goals“.
Bespak is a great example of how having a carefully thought through digital signage strategy can lead to effective communication and increased engagement across a workforce.
