Giant Poster Advertising Banned In Amsterdam

Giant poster advertising in Amsterdam will no longer be possible from January 1, 2021 , The current city council of Amsterdam has decided to ban it as it wishes to reduce the amount of advertising in public spaces.

In a post on LinkedIn, Ernst Vos, CCO blowUP media Group said “That we deeply regret this decision goes without saying. Because this is not only affecting us but also our long term partners who support us. Over the years we have helped to renovate hundreds of buildings, many of them listed as monumental. blowUP media have always worked towards creating a liveable and sustainable city with international appeal”.

This is a big shame, as Ersnt says, giant Posters belong in a metropolis like Amsterdam.
