At #CES2021 Swiss tech startup Typewise AG is announcing the launch of their third-generation smartphone keyboard.
We are told that Typewise’s successful concept is powered by a patented 70% larger ‘honeycomb’ layout which increases two-thumb typing speed by an average of 33%. The new autocorrection technology (patent pending) reduces typos by up to four times. With privacy at its core, Typewise 3.0 can work 100% offline, with no data accessed by Typewise or third parties.
Typewise 3.0 will be available in early 2021 and can automatically recognise the language of which the user is currently typing and switch to that language. This recognition software is so acutely sensitive, it even recognizes and assists users when they type in a dialect or use colloquialisms; this ground-breaking feature is currently available in 40+ languages.
There have been more than 500,000 downloads of Typewise and more than 130,000 active users in less than 12 months since launching its first version.
