blowUP media Germany has announced that all of their clients Giant Posters will now be CO2-neutral.
We are told that they’ve been working closely with their printing partner and the climate protection agency natureOffice, and has analysed the CO2 emissions of its poster material.
It will offset these with a compensation project specifically tailored to blowUP media; blowUP media’s climate protection project is ‘Burn Stoves’ in Kenya and they are also supporting the ‘Green City e.V.’ initiative in Munich with an additional five euros per tonne of CO2.
Whether it be community gardens, flowers for bees or environmental education for the young and old we understand that ‘Green City e.V.’ is involved in a variety of projects with the aim of making the city greener and more liveable.
As proof of CO2 compensation, blowUP media clients will receive a certificate about the compensated emissions during poster production for each booking they make. These CO2 savings can be offset by clients within the framework of their own sustainability projects.
blowUP media is part of Ströer, and is a specialist for large-format giant posters from 100 to 2.500 square metres.
