DPAA, the global trade marketing association connecting Out-of-Home media with the advertising community while moving OOH to digital, announced this week the appointment of Jim Wilson, CEO of Talon America, to its Board of Directors.
Jim Wilson is the U.S. CEO of Europe-based, private equity backed Talon Outdoor. He is building the award-winning, independent out-of-home advertising technology and services leader for the world’s biggest brands and agencies. With offices across the country, Talon America is expanding rapidly through organic revenue growth, as well as strategic acquisitions and partnerships, including the recently announced Talon-Buntin partnership.
Previously, he founded Premion, the market leading and award-winning OTT/CTV advertising services and technology platform and joint venture between TEGNA and Gray Television. He has held a number of U.S. and global leadership positions, including COO of TouchTunes, a venue-based digital music platform and OOH advertising company, and CEO/Board Member Atari. Earlier in his career, he founded the games business at Universal Studios and became Global Head of Development for Vivendi Universal Games.

He joins the DPAA Board with buy-side perspective, serving media owners, programmatic companies, research and data firms. The DPAA Board also includes the organization’s Brand CEO Council, further delivering on DPAA’s mission to connect out-of-home media with the advertising community.
