Last week’s AdTECH: OOH – London Conference was SOLD OUT but of course, in this instance it is nothing to shout about, the in-person capacity was severely limited and tickets were snapped up in a matter of days.
It did however mark only the second in-person AdTECH conference in 18 months, the last two being Sydney in September 2020 (the sole physical event that whole year) and in Amsterdam all the way back on December 4, 2019.
The event was streamed live on YouTube and even though we had a couple of technical issues on the day as we experimented with a couple of different formats, for speakers and audience were incredibly patient.
If you haven’t put on an in-person event just yet, when you finally do, you will be amazed at the look in people’s eyes when they meet face to face and the desire to network. 50% of our audience last week went straight out for a drink as soon as the event was over!
