Yesterday Deutsche Telekom announced that it would not exhibit at #MWC21.
The Chinese company Xiaomi also announced late last week that it would not physically exhibit but it would take part virtually.
A statement from them said “With the aim of ensuring the health and safety of all its employees, customers, partners and the media, Xiaomi has decided to participate only virtually in MWC 2021. Despite the complicated situation in which we live, the company will continue reinforcing its presence by actively collaborating in the sector to support the global technology community”.
They both join Samsung, Cisco, Google, Sony, Nokia, Facebook, Oracle and Ericsson (who were the first to pull out) in not exhibiting.
