DPAA, the leading global trade marketing association representing advertising and content outside the home while driving the digitization of out-of-home media, announced this week that Blingby has joined the association. Blingby makes digital content interactive. By scanning QR codes on digital screens and traditional OOH placements, or through embed codes, Blingby allows for product discovery and direct call to action, while at the same time giving advertisers additional impressions as their ads (static or video) appear on the mobile phone as well. Blingby technology also works on programmatic platforms.
Marcia-Elizabeth C. Favale, Founder and CEO of Blingby said “Authenticity is the key to a brand’s success. Our technology helps brands do just that by extending their messaging and offers, this is particularly important for their out of home placements, as the medium itself is known for this attribute.”
Barry Frey, President & CEO of DPAA told us “We are pleased to have Blingby as part of the DPAA. Blingby is the next generation of embeddable interactive technology and rich media ads, we look forward to them being an active member of our community.”
Blingby adds interactivity to digital content that drives smart engagement. The Technology is cross-screen and device ready, works on programmatic platforms, with QR technology, through social media and messaging, via email, and on third party websites, and on apps.
DPAA now has members in EMEA, North America, South America, Asia and Australia.
