LHR T3 Street Furniture Example

We are often asked about street furniture – does it always have to be outside, large or small? what does it look like etc?
This is a nice example found at BAA’s LHR T3 built by Ferrograph to house 4 x portrait screens showing flight information.
I was asked the other day why this specific sort of example was on a pole and high off the ground – simple answer – nice screens don’t get broken if a late / irate traveller or distracted buggy driver bumps into it with their trolley or buggy!
