DPAA Expands Board of Directors

DPAA, the global trade marketing association, driving the growth and digitization of out-of-home media today announced that Blake Sabatinelli, Chief Operating Officer of Atmosphere and Chip Harding, Senior Vice President, Business Development, Simon have been unanimously elected to its Board of Directors.

Simon is the largest retail real estate developer in the United States and Atmosphere, is one of the leading TV streaming services for businesses.

  • Prior to Atmosphere, Blake was CEO of digital and cable news outlet Newsy, where he pivoted the company from a white label content producer into an award-winning newsroom. Responsible for two channels, he rapidly expanded viewership and grew revenue from $3MM to over $50MM in five years. Prior to Newsy, he led video strategy for its parent, The E.W. Scripps Company.
  • Chip has over 30 years of global, domestic advertising and sponsorship experience. At Simon, he has built and leads the media and sponsorship sales team in North America as well as the ongoing conversion of static media to DOOH.  Prior to joining Simon in 2002, he held senior management positions with Host Communications, working with CBS and ESPN on the sale and packaging of the NCAA Corporate Partner. He was also Managing Director of Host Communications International in Paris, and Vice President, Sponsorships for Street Hoops International, an NBA Europe joint venture agency.

With the addition of Atmosphere and Simon, the DPAA Board now includes representation from DOOH networks covering gyms, shopping centers, gas stations, office towers, cinema, billboards, public spaces, restaurants/bars; media buying agencies, content firms, programmatic and location data companies.
