Vistar Media is looking to expand its executive team to include a Chief Operating Officer. You will be working closely with the CEO, CFO and CTO to grow and scale the business in a dynamic and competitive marketplace.
This person will oversee a high performing leadership team in managing day to day operations as well as larger scale initiatives for the business. The COO will have oversight of the programmatic marketplace, business operations and strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and hands on leader with proven experience in growing and scaling an organization.
Objectives

- Collaborate with the CEO in setting and driving organizational vision, operational strategy, and global scale.
- Translate strategy into actionable goals helping to drive organization-wide performance management and efficiency.
- Oversee company operations creating a culture of inclusivity, collaboration and accountability while ensuring team members thrive and organizational outcomes are met.
Responsibilities

- Collaborate with executive team and the Company’s board on strategic planning, organic and inorganic growth opportunities and business development.
- Assist CEO and CFO in executing global expansion efforts in EMEA, APAC and LATAM.
- Partner with CEO and CFO to develop and execute comprehensive objectives, strategies, and plans with the goal of emerging as a world-class global market leader.
- Manage, motivate and mentor a global team of accomplished leaders across demand, supply, support, partnerships and operations.
- Collaborate with business leads to create best practices, key performance indicators and organizational structures that support growth and scale.
- Lead teams to consistently meet and exceed ambitious global revenue goals and growth targets.
- Partner with country and regional leads on business plans and financial performance, working closely with Vistar’s CFO and Finance team.
- Partner with CFO to support the financial needs of the business.
- Act as an agent of change, helping to translate strategy into actionable goals for organizational performance and growth
Requirements

- 15+ year’s experience managing strategic and daily business operations and leading business teams.
- Experience in the marketing or advertising industry, and a strong understanding of the media landscape.
- Ability to establish good working relationships with leaders, employees and clients.
- Highly trustworthy and ethical with excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Proven track record of scaling businesses over $100M+ in revenue.
- Experience managing leaders of multiple cross functional teams.
- Experience in owning multiple lines of business and P&L’s.
- Thought leadership.
- Proven track record of collaborating with CEO’s & CFO’s.
- Experience presenting to a board of directors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required
