Hybrid DigiVans From @MediaDisplays

Adrian J Cotterill, Editor-in-Chief

Media Displays, the company responsible for digivans and digital display screens throughout the UK, tells us that it has invested GBP 80k into new battery powered screens to support its commitment to becoming carbon neutral.

Building on its recent purchase of a GBP 250k electric vehicle and battery powered screen, this new equipment will replace the generator-powered display units that were previously relied upon.

Managing Director of Media Displays, Ian Taylor told us “We’ve had a really busy start to the year but are mindfully aware of our need to continue to invest in our commitments to become carbon neutral. It would be easy to ignore the impact that we have, but as a responsible business we want to lead by example and make changes now for the future. There is more to be done but we are taking steps in the right direction.”

As well as meeting with the company’s sustainability strategy, this investment will also give carbon conscious customers further rationale to choose Media Displays as a partner of choice for all digital out of home advertising.

Once installed, the screens will be used for various campaigns and events that will showcase marketing messaging at high footfall locations throughout the country.
