It should be obvious to all by now that there won’t be many Chinese exhibitors at #ISE2022 next month.
Those employees who could get out of China, with its current #Covid19 lockdowns would always have had to make the choice between #ISE2022 in May 10-13 in Barcelona or #Infocomm22 a few weeks later June 8-10 in Las Vegas.
So what should a trade show organiser do if they wanted to keep the pretence of a full show floor AND keep as much exhibitor money as possible?
Well, why not ask the Chinese manufacturers to ship product, build a stand for them and then employ your own local people to man it on their behalf?
Yes that’s right, we have heard of several cases where Chinese exhibitors won’t be there in-person but their product will be and those manning the stand will be token local people employed by Integrated Systems Events.
