Vistar Media has appointed Welby Chen as Chief Operating Officer.
Following a rapid expansion into 13 countries, strategic acquisition of Sage+Archer in Europe and record breaking revenue quarters, He joins the Vistar executive team as a key player with extensive experience scaling companies into global operations.
As COO, he will oversee Vistar’s core revenue operations on both the demand and supply side, while driving and executing the company’s growth strategy.

Welby has more than 20 years experience in advertising technology and sales across global markets, where he has focused on helping companies optimize their business models while propelling them toward substantial growth. Specifically, he spent more than a decade in the startup space, most recently serving as COO at JW Player, a leading video SaaS platform. He was also a founding member of video publisher VEVO, held leadership positions at mobile SSPs Inneractive and Fyber, and spent more than 10 years at Microsoft and Nokia working across product, technology and sales.
