Scala Release 5 Digital Signage Software was made available to its resellers late last week so expect an official announcement sometime soon touting all the new features.
We haven’t seen the latest release but are told that it contains new support for audio (done properly that should mean it supports music playlisting and profiling) and support, that we like for a number of new hardware platforms as well.
Release 5 seems to be an update to most of Scala’s offerings, i.e Content Manager, Ad Manager, the Designer and the Player.
